Deep Prac­tice with Dr. Gary is a unique group pro­gram in the trad­ing indus­try, based on the robust research known as delib­er­ate or deep practice.

It is designed to do one thing and one thing only: develop and hone your knowl­edge, skills, and abil­i­ties in chart read­ing and trade execution.

Deep prac­tice is the path fol­lowed by those who work to develop exper­tise and mas­tery in their field. Solid research of expert per­for­mance tells us that mas­tery in any field or endeavor is not based on genet­ics, fam­ily back­ground, intel­li­gence, for­mal edu­ca­tion or even tal­ent. Instead, we know that becom­ing a true expert comes from hard work. In other words, exper­tise comes from practice.

But it is not just any kind of prac­tice. It takes what is known as delib­er­ate practice.

Many peo­ple have been in the same job or pro­fes­sion for 10, 20, even 30 years. But even with all these years of expe­ri­ence, only few of these peo­ple are con­sid­ered as experts and mas­ters in their fields. Why is that? Devel­op­ing mas­tery takes more than mere experience.

It takes a spe­cial kind of prac­tice – the kind of prac­tice that takes you to the edge of your abil­i­ties, and then a lit­tle beyond. By prac­tic­ing right at the edge of your abil­ity, you develop the knowl­edge, skills, and abil­i­ties that the aver­age per­son never acquires. This is deep practice.

Deep Prac­tice with Dr. Gary:

Dr. Gary will apply the approach and prin­ci­ples laid out above to help you develop advanced chart read­ing skills. He will lead you through actual deep prac­tice exer­cises on chart read­ing, bar-bar-bar.

Many prin­ci­ples of both basic and advanced chart read­ing will be prac­ticed delib­er­ately over the course of the program.
